Manuel Morgado

Manuel Morgado, born in 1979 in France, studied Communication Design in Portugal.

Inspired by different kinds of art like comics, movies, music or painting, mostly in barroque, renascence style, like Caravagio, Rubens, Vermeer, among others, and by contemporary illustration artists, such as Luis Royo, John Jude Palencar, Matt Stawicki, Tood Lockwood, Norman Rockwell, he seeks inspiration for his work.

His works can be found in many newspapers, magazines and in the advertise media, also since 1998 he does painting exibitions and also has several comic books published.
