beijo sem fim - sortelha
At the time when Portugal was fighting to reconquer the Beiras from the Moors, the daughter of the mayor of Sortelha fell in love with the Moorish prince. They exchanged messages and gifts, until one day they agreed to meet. But the maiden’s mother, ever vigilant, decided to follow her. A practitioner of witchcraft, as soon as the two kissed, she cursed them, turning them to stone. This gave rise to the curious boulders of Sortelha, which are still known today as Pedras do Beijo Eterno. A set of 4 illustrations to print in big scale outdoors for a event.
